Jacqueline Spence, Esquire - Founder
Attorney Jacqueline Spence is the founder of the Affordable Law Center and brings more than two decades of legal experience to her clients. Born and raised in Queens, New York, Ms. Spence built her foundation as a strong advocate early in her career before relocating to Florida, where she has continued to serve individuals and families with professionalism, dedication, and compassion.
Licensed to practice law in both Florida and Georgia, Ms. Spence offers her clients a broad perspective and depth of knowledge across multiple jurisdictions. In addition to her litigation and advisory practice, she is also a certified Family Law Mediator and Arbitrator, giving her unique insight into resolving disputes both inside and outside of the courtroom.
Throughout her career, Ms. Spence has earned a reputation for her commitment to client-focused representation. She believes that every client deserves skilled legal counsel. Her experience spans a wide range of practice areas, with a focus on family law, estate planning, and dispute resolution, always with the goal of helping her clients secure peace of mind and lasting solutions.
As the founder of the Affordable Law Center, Ms. Spence remains dedicated to building a law practice that reflects her values: integrity, accessibility, and advocacy. Her passion for the law and her clients has made her a trusted advisor and advocate for individuals and families throughout Florida and beyond.
Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Spence is actively engaged in her community and enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and exploring new opportunities to serve others.
Ashlee Miller - Attorney
Ashlee B. Miller is an Associate Attorney at Affordable Law Center, where she is committed to providing thoughtful, strategic, and client-focused representation. She approaches each case with diligence, professionalism, and a genuine desire to help clients navigate challenging legal matters with clarity and confidence.
Ms. Miller earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. During her time in law school, she demonstrated strong leadership and academic excellence. She served as President of the Black Law Students Association, where she mentored fellow students and organized programming focused on professional development and community engagement. She also served as an Articles Editor for the Nova Law Review, contributing to scholarly legal research and refining her analytical and writing skills—tools that continue to serve her clients today.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Miller earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Trust and Wealth Management from Campbell University, along with a minor in Financial Planning. Her academic foundation in finance provides her with a unique and valuable perspective when handling matters that involve complex financial issues, asset division, estate planning, and long-term planning considerations. She understands not only the legal implications of a case, but also the financial realities her clients face.
Ashlee is known for her meticulous preparation, strong communication skills, and calm, solutions-oriented approach. She believes that effective advocacy begins with listening. Clients appreciate her ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and approachable manner, ensuring they feel informed and empowered throughout the process.
At Affordable Law Center, Ms. Miller is dedicated to helping individuals and families move forward with stability and confidence—whether through careful negotiation or assertive litigation when necessary.
Law school, Ms. Miller served as President of the Black Law Students Association and as an Articles Editor of the Nova Law Review.
Prior to law school, Ms. Miller attended Campbell University where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Trust and Wealth Management along with a minor in Financial Planning.
Ali- Senior Paralegal
Ali is a Florida Registered Paralegal with more than a decade of experience in family law and civil litigation. She has been an integral part of the Affordable Law Center since 2016, bringing extensive knowledge of the legal process and a strong commitment to client service.
As a Florida native and proud graduate of the University of Florida, Ali takes pride in serving her community with professionalism and compassion. She works closely with attorneys and clients to manage all aspects of case preparation, including discovery, client communication, and trial readiness. Her attention to detail and organizational skills ensure that each case is handled with care and efficiency.
Ali is known for her approachable demeanor, reliability, and dedication to helping clients navigate difficult times. She plays a key role in supporting the firm’s mission to deliver high-quality, affordable legal services.
Outside of work, Ali enjoys traveling with her husband and three children and creating meaningful family experiences along the way.
Jessie - Paralegal
With more than a decade of litigation experience, Jessie is an integral part of the Affordable Law Center team. She works closely with both clients and attorneys, guiding cases from inception through resolution with precision, organization, and genuine care.
As a cornerstone of the firm’s day-to-day operations, Jess manages every phase of the legal process to ensure matters move forward efficiently and strategically. She understands that for clients, these are not just files—they are life-changing events. For that reason, she prioritizes clear communication and consistent support so clients feel informed and reassured at every stage.
Jess’s role extends beyond the office. She frequently attends hearings and trials alongside the attorney, providing critical behind-the-scenes coordination and offering clients a steady, familiar presence during some of their most significant moments in court.
Known for her meticulous attention to detail and unwavering dedication, Jess brings both experience and empathy to every case. Her extensive background in family law allows her to anticipate challenges before they arise, streamline complex processes, and ensure each client receives thoughtful, high-level service from start to finish.
Regina - Legal Assistant
Regina Kopeck is a Legal Assistant with over 20 years of customer service experience and a strong dedication to client care. Since joining the Affordable Law Center in 2024, she has been a reliable and compassionate presence for clients navigating challenging legal matters.
Regina works closely with the legal team to provide support throughout the case process, ensuring clients feel heard, informed, and cared for every step of the way. Her calm, empathetic approach and ability to communicate clearly make her a valued part of the firm’s commitment to accessible, client-focused legal services.
A proud Florida native, Regina brings a grounded, personal touch to every interaction. She is known for her warm demeanor, professionalism, and genuine desire to help others.
